TEAM IN TRAINING®

We are pleased to announce that the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training (TNT) program has been chosen as the Premier Charity Partner of the Pacific Crest Weekend Sports Festival. TNT athletes have raised over $1 million for LLS through their participation in Pacific Crest events. This year we are excited to welcome TNT participants who are fundraising for this wonderful cause from the Oregon & SW Washington; Washington & Alaska; and San Francisco Chapters. To learn about how you can participate with TNT, visit www.teamintraining.org. To learn more about the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, please visit www.lls.org.

ABOUT TEAM IN TRAINING®

Bruce Cleland had no idea of the kind of impact he was going to have on the lives of so many. In 1988, he assembled a team to run in the NYC Marathon to raise money in honor of his daughter, a leukemia survivor. 38 runners raised $322,000 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's funding of blood cancer research. 25 years, 1.3 billion dollars and 570,000 participants later, Team In Training (TNT) has become the most influential endurance sports training program for charity in the world. TNT isn't about the training or nutrition or gear clinics or the expert coaching you'll receive. It's not about cool event locations or the sport you choose -- full or half-marathons, sprint triathlons, hike adventures or cycle centuries. It's about your passion and desire to change the world by helping fund cures for cancer. It's about saving lives, not someday, but TODAY. For 25 years, TNT has been the leader in training everyday people to do endurance events while changing the cancer world with every mile we walk, run, hike, pedal or swim. We are closer than ever to a world without cancer because of TNT efforts. Join us in celebrating our 25th Anniversary by learning about and participating in this life changing program! www.teamintraining.org

The 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation was founded by the uncle of a cancer survivor – a brave little girl who in 2008, at age 3, successfully fought through a rare form of ovarian cancer, surgeries, and radiation treatments. Lauren became an inspiration to carry forward our support to those kids facing a similar fight. In 2009, Legs For Lauren became a Seattle Childrens Hospital “Research Champion” with its first major gift. That’s what we race for. What do YOU race for? http://www.legsforlauren.org
